I just recently visited the Pomalleto headquarters in Milano and went through their 2014 collections. Very exciting and inspiring to see all their stunning new collections, their playful use of colours was very unique and their attention to detail and the quality of the gemstones was exceptional.A trend that was evident was the new ‘piccolo’ collections, the Nudo collection have these new smaller sized rings that are gorgeous on daintier hands, and also work very well when worn with the other larger Nudo rings. The Sabbia collection have also got smaller sized rings that are beautiful in their attention to detail, exquisitely handmade. They also have stunning new bracelets and necklaces that complete this collection.
I was lucky enough to be attending the Pomellato headquarters showroom when the team from the Italian Vogue were about to view the exceptionally beautiful Pom Pom collections. From viewing the new smaller Piccolo collections to these over sized extravagant jewels was remarkable. These one off designs are of the most exceptional in the world, an amazing experience to see such exceptional craftsmanship from master jewellers in one room. The beauty of the jewels was dazzling…the theme the tropics. To be able to see the full Pom Pom collection is person is a remarkable sight.
